Freedom to be Entertained

So it’s 1:35am on a Thursday night, and technically I should be asleep. But, I’m not. And I’m not happy about it for various reasons, primarily I’m not happy because there is NOTHING to watch. Really, syndicated TV shows and broadcast networks? Really, million dollar TV show actors, writers, directors and producers? You mean to tell me that the best you can give me is seven to twelve episodes if I’m lucky, and then you go on “hiatus” for a year? What kind of poor work ethic is that?

I believe I have the right, the entitlement, and the Freedom to be entertained better than this. I don’t want to hear about you spending time with your family, because honestly us lesser paid citizens of the world work year round without reprieve. You get paid millions a year, you can afford to get your kids therapy for any “trauma” they obtain. We as a country technically pay your salaries, and I need you to do better! Be more like Japan, who churns out Anime episode after Anime episode, accumulating over 174 episodes in ONE SEASON!!!

This is the life you chose, to entertain us. We pay you for it, we stalk you for it, we work hard to get on 18 year plans for it, and all YOU have to do, Mr/Mrs Actor, is ACT! Write!! Direct!!!! Give me something to watch, before I give your job to someone else.

I found the ramblings very amusing I agree media here is very inadequate starting with the same fake news that get repeated hour after hour when there is a lot more of substance going on that needs to be reported. The TV shows all lack originality, those that do have an agenda-gay, vampire/witchcraft, the rich and idiotic. I’m sick of the “reality” mess shown.
